Spring (March-May)

Spring in the Lagoon city is magical. Thanks to rising temperatures and longer days, boats return to the water and the Canals and Islands regain life.

The climate becomes perfect for enjoying a nice walk along the city’s Fondamentas or attending typical events, such as the Festa della Sensa, which symbolizes the marriage between Venice and the Sea.

Summer (June-September)

During the summer, the city reaches its peak splendor, both in terms of crowd numbers and especially for the wonderful sunsets as the day comes to a close. A boat ride is the perfect solution to escape the high temperatures and the city’s crowd, allowing you to explore all the curiosities surrounding Venice.

Redentore, the Historical Regatta, and the Film Festival, three extremely important events that are Venice’s identity symbols, dominate the summer period, making the Venetian summer even more vibrant.

Autumn (October-November)

Temperatures start to drop, the colors become warmer, and the city slowly sees a little less crowd. These conditions are ideal for experiencing the city not only during daylight hours but also afterwards. During the day, take a tour of the city’s most important Islands, and then finish with an Aperitif on board or in the city’s most convivial spots.

Thanks to its late closure, you can take advantage of seeing the Biennale in its last available months, one of Venice’s central and most internationally followed events.

Winter (December-February)

The city offers a great sense of intimacy to those who choose to come during this period, despite the naturally colder temperatures. Moreover, the arrival of the year’s most magical time, Christmas, perfectly matches the Canals and Calli (sort of alleys) of Venice, creating very evocative places.

When winter is ending, Carnival takes center stage, with people (in boats along the Canals or on foot in the streets) dressing up and bringing Venice back to its stunning past.
