Sweet Molly

Sweet Molly is a beautiful motorboat that was designed in Sweden in 1938 by Carl Gustav Pettersson for a wealthy industrialist family. This unique boat was built exclusively to give the mother of the protagonist a spectator position at the America Coup in New York in 1938. This is where the son of the family wanted to participate under the Swedish flag. However, the outbreak of the Second World War put a stop to the venture and Sweet Molly was shipped back to Sweden as a completely unused boat.

Sweet Molly is made of Honduras mahogany planks bolted to oak frames and combines pure elegance and beauty with her fascinating history. She acts as an eye-catcher from an era when design was very important and one-off boat production was still possible.
